Express yourself. Self perceptions always creates misunderstandings. Sometimes we lose the things only because we don't make clarity and don't try to get that.
Also, don't ever give less priority to your life for the useless things. Be always focused in your life. Someone want to be a part your life if it is in better state. No one wants to live with the person who has destroyed their life. So give priority to make a lovable life.
